About the St. James UMC Kids Consignment Sale

Mission Statement: The purpose of the St James UMC Kids consignment Sale is “Service to Others.” We strive to use our sale to bring people together for the greater good of all.

 

We serve the local community by providing a means to upcycle gently used children’s items. We serve the wider community by welcoming them to shop for affordable children’s items. We serve the greater Atlanta area by providing thousands of donated children’s items to local family-supporting charities.

 

We serve our St James community through financial support of church, local, and international children’s programs. We welcome you to join us in our mission to serve others!

For more than a decade, proceeds from the sale support the Children’s Ministry at St. James in many ways: Children's worship materials, Activities Building upgrades, Food Truck children's activities, a Youth Scholarship to help our youth with their missions, a Trees Atlanta planting on our beautiful campus and Belief in Action outreach that supports children in Atlanta and internationally.

 

Donated items are graciously received by several organizations, including My Sister’s House and the Refugee Family Literacy program run by Friends of Refugees. We are proud to continue a 10-year relationship with the Refugee Family Literacy program as this organization supports women and children refugees with learning English and early childhood development.
